Desert Island Songs

Every so often I write about a song that I'd include in my "Desert Island" collection.

The Very Serious And Not Completely Made Up Rules:

1. Only one song by each artist or band.

2. These are the songs that I actually would want to listen to on a desert island. The setting is part of the game!

3. This list is not in any particular order. If I washed up on shore and found an iPod with any 3 (or 5, or 10, or whatever) of these songs, I'd be happy.

Vulnerable and powerful, optimistic and defiant. It’s a statement that you and I are going to outlast the circumstances that surround us, and that our connection matters. I love it.
